The monastery of Santa Maria de Vallbona is the most important house of Cistercian nuns in Catalonia and the life of the community has continued unbroken for eight and a half centuries. Visitors can see the main rooms of the monastery, and most notably the church and the cloister.

Visiting times:
Weekdays: 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 to 6.45 p.m.
Public holidays: 12 noon to 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 to 6.45 p.m.
Mondays closed In winter (November to February inclusive) the monastery closes for visits at 6 p.m.
